Obtaining a license key for ActivEdit

Information about generating a license key for ActivEdit

The ActivEdit applet requires you to obtain a license key for each domain it will be used on. To generate a license key:

Login to your account by clicking on my account, or by visiting http://www.cfdev.com/myaccount/

There will click on view previous orders, and then next to your purchase there should be a link that says manage. On the manage licenses page you can add a domain, and it will give you a license key. Use the key in the appletlicense attribute or property of your activedit instance.

The license key is not dependant on our web site, ActivEdit has the ability to determine if a license is valid without contacting our web site.
